Christy Marx joined DC Comics last year to write the highly anticipated relaunch of Amethyst, Sword of Sorcery. That book has now had its last issue but Marx is staying on at DC as the new head writer of Birds of Prey, taking over from Duane Swierczynski who relauched…
I was going to type up this lovely thought out post about the pros and cons of the interview about the Birds of Prey series being taken over by Christy Marx, and I still might. But, as of right now, The Finger Fucking Female Fury really summed up the base level of my feelings so exactly, I just can’t not reblog…. And that romance comment gave my friend and I quite a bit of laughing time as well.

The Ravenwood Mask I think is your best bet for Katharsis. Prices aren’t bad for a hand made leather mask. I just bought a Batwoman mask from them at Big Wow Comicfest this weekend. And, on a practical side- it uses string to wear. Which could be a plus if you don’t feel like spirit gumming/gluing a mask to your face every time you wear it also a leather mask will form to your face with your natural body heat where another mask will roughly stay in form (assuming it isn’t a perfect fit to begin with). Side note, I think that metallic purple in the picture would look awesome haha

Another Free Comic Book Day has come and past and it was a BLAST! Again, we’d like to thank our home base comic shop Heroes & Villains for having us back and letting us hang out with the amazing customers, G.I. Joe costume group, Bay Area Ghostbusters and the always gracious Dan Brereton. Here’s our first batch of photos!
